Don't get caught out by local numbers

Always ask for a cost estimation

Ask if it includes VAT and if there are any additional call out charges.

Ask if they're able to open your door without causing damage

If you find yourself locked out and the keys are inside the property, it is recommended that you ask your locksmith whether or not it will cause any damage to the lock.

This company responded at very short notice. We had just moved house and the front door key turned but would not catch. The locksmith arrived not long after we phoned. We told him that we would be replacing the door in a few months and he said he would try to salvage and repair the lock rather than replace it because it would be cheaper. He said it is a heavy duty lock and duly took it apart, did something to the inside of it, replaced part of the mechanism and it worked! The locksmith also went through all of our keys ( they all looked the same to us) and sorted out which ones were for the front door. He was very polite and considerate as was the person we spoke to on the phone. We would definitely recommend this company!

5 Star service, prompt and very professional. Simon fixed my french door locks and made adjustments for the door to fit better. He could have easily have suggested a new set of locks and charged much more but had no problem fixing them and saving me the extra cost.He also did another smaller job for me and again saved me having to get new handles.
